WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A HOME WITH RIDGEWOOD?
Looking to build a home but don't know where to begin? You're in the right place. Here, we'll guide you through the process of building a home with our team, whether it's one of our pre-designed plans on our lots, or a custom build on your own property. Our general process overview will help you take those all-important first steps.
1. Pre-Approval
Talk to your local lender to discuss your approval amount for a new home purchase or construction loan.
2. Select Your Homesite
We have available lots in neighborhoods throughout Bryan/College Station that you can choose from, or you may be looking to build on your own property.
3. Our Plans or One of Yours
We have a wide range of floor plans to choose from, or we can certainly build from a completed set of plans that you bring. Also, we are happy to provide contacts for draftsmen if you are looking to get a custom plan designed.

5. Let Us Build Your Dream Home
Follow along with the process as your home comes to life! Visit the site as often as you like, take photos, and engage with us and track the progress of your home in our cutting edge Buildertrend software while you enjoy the journey!
6. Walk-Thru & Move In!
Approximately 7 days before closing, we’ll do an Initial Walk-Thru with you to provide your new home orientation, mark touchups, and present your personalized Warranty Binder. That way you can have peace of mind that your home is 100% complete and ready for you to move in on your closing day.
